Karachi : Talha Fahim first played an unbeaten and explosive knock of 96 runs and then went on to grab two wickets to help Bank Islami (BI) cricket team record a 26-run triumph against Faysal Bank (FB) in 8th AKU Twenty-20 Ramadan Cricket Tournament here Monday at AKU Sports Centre Cricket Ground.
Bank Islami batted first and put on board 198-7 in allotted 20 overs. Talha s unbeaten 96-run knock came off only 47 balls. Aashir Hasnain captured four wickets.
Faysal Bank in response scored 172 runs before they were bundled out in 20th over. Aashir (38) top scored for the side. Wasim Ali captured three wickets while Talha and Zohaib Azam hauled two wickets each for the victors in the match.
