Sri Lanka elect to bat in fourth India ODI

COLOMBO  – Sri Lanka captain Mahela Jayawardene elected to bat after winning the toss against India in the fourth one-day international in Colombo on Tuesday.

Sri Lanka made two changes from the side which lost the last match by five wickets, bringing in batsman Lahiru Thirimanne and debutant paceman Nuwan Pradeep in place of injured Kumar Sangakkara and Isuru Udana.

India, who lead 2-1 in the five-match series, replaced spinner Rahul Sharma with batsman Manoj Tiwary.

Sri Lanka: Mahela Jayawardene (capt), Tillakaratne Dilshan, Upul Tharanga, Dinesh Chandimal (wkt), Angelo Mathews, Lahiru Thirimanne, Jeevan Mendis, Thisara Perera, Lasith Malinga, Rangana Herath, Nuwan Pradeep.

India: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (capt/wkt), Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Manoj Tiwary, Suresh Raina, Irfan Pathan, Ravichandran Ashwin, Zaheer Khan, Ashok Dinda.

Umpires: Kumar Dharmasena (SRI) and Bruce Oxenford (AUS)

TV umpire: Tyron Wijewardene (SRI)
