Karachi : Afzal Sheikh played an explosive and unbeaten 83-run knock to help AKU Staff cricket team record an eight-wicket win over Green Cherry (GC) cricket team in 8th AKU Twenty-20 Ramadan Cricket Tournament here Sunday at AKU Sports Centre Cricket Ground.
Green Cherry batted first and scored 146-8 in 20 overs. Omer Masood was the top scorer for the side with 34 runs. Ali Shah bowled lethally and captured a four-wicket haul for AKU Staff.
In response AKU Staff reached the target in 17th over with eight wickets in hand thanks to Afzal for playing an unbeaten 83-run knock off only 43 balls.
